Mexico City

We made a quick stop in Mexico City to break up the trip for Max. We arrived late last night, so I wasn't sure what I was going to wake up to.. 

 Chaya B&B is on the rooftop of a commercial building in the downtown core. The hanging plants, cacti, and  hammocks make for a peaceful and charming atmosphere. I wish we were staying longer. 

 We were able to go for a nice stroll this morning. Spence toured us around some "must-see" spots. 

However, Max's highlight was playing with stones in the hotel lobby.

It was a quick visit, but I'm definitely interested in returning one day. 

We arrived this evening in Lima. We were picked up by Santiago and just enjoyed a late night meal in the courtyard of our hotel. Max insisted on feeding me... retribution for me shovelling food into his face for the last 2 years.
